Sales Team Leader

Ohlssons was founded in 1998 in Landskrona and currently has about 850 employees, operations in around 50 municipalities across Sweden, and a turnover of over 1.5 billion. The company assists municipalities and businesses with services in waste management, sludge and water supply, recycling, transport, and contracting. The group also includes Puls – Planned Maintenance Service AB, Soreto Services AB, Exellent Syd AB, ÖMAB, and Tintorella Properties AB.

About the Position

We are now looking for a Sales Team Leader for our recycling operations. In this role, you will combine operational sales with the responsibility of leading, coordinating, and developing the daily work of the sales team. You are a present and clear leader who creates structure, engagement, and progress, while also being active in the business.

You have a central position in the organization where you, together with the team, support our customers in managing and sorting their waste, while also working on the sales of recycled materials further down the value chain in close collaboration with the Recycling Business Area Manager.

The operations currently include three recycling centers, and the role involves close cooperation with our transport organization to ensure an efficient and quality-assured transition from business to operational management. The role suits you if you have experience in sales and thrive in a responsible role where you can combine a driving work approach with a coaching leadership style.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily work of the sales team
  • Support ongoing business and contribute to achieving business goals
  • Follow up on sales activities, results, and key performance indicators
  • Ensure structure in work methods, processes, and follow-up
  • Develop and support the team
  • Work operationally with sales and customer dialogue
  • Ensure that business is clearly handed over to operational management

Profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in their sales skills and has a natural way of building trust within the team. You enjoy creating order in complex flows, are communicative and solution-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate across departmental boundaries.

You are motivated by seeing both business and people develop and have the ability to balance clear expectations with support, presence, and a pragmatic approach in everyday life.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in operational sales with a good business understanding and focus on profitability and long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable and value-creating business
  • Experience in leading and developing a team in daily work, with clear direction and structure
  • Familiarity with goal-oriented work with follow-up of activities and results
  • Good system skills and experience with CRM and digital sales tools
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Previous formal managerial experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

The position is full-time and begins with a six-month probationary period. Placement and other conditions are to be agreed upon. The position can be based in Landskrona or southward.
